BEACHES

THE ISLAND OF SPETSES OFFERS A PLETHORA OF BEAUTIFUL BEACHES

AGIA MARINA

The beach of Agia Marina is located only a couple of kilometers away from Chora, also known as Dapia. It is the most popular beach on Spetses. Nearby, at a nice spot full of palm trees, pines and cypresses there is a small chapel in pink and white colors, dedicated to Santa Marina. The beach boasts a wonderful scenery. It has some sandy and some pebbled spots. Moreover, there is a wide range of water sports for the adventurous ones.

AGIA PARASKEVI

The beautiful sandy beach of Agia Paraskevi is located in a sheltered cove on the western coast of Spetses, 12 kilometres from Dapia. Shaded by a thick pine forest, the beach offers some water sports facilities and a snack bar. The beach of Agia Paraskevi owns its name to the cube-shaped chapel standing a few metres inland from the edge.

XILOKERIZA

The beautiful bay of Xilokeriza is located on the south-eastern coast of Spetses, at 8 kilometres from Dapia. A dirt path leads to it but taxi-boats also connect it with Spetses Town. It is one of the less developed beaches of the island, and it is offering sand and pebble, nice waters and a small tavern.

TOWN BEACH

Spetses Town Beach is part of the town itself, as it is placed on its middle. The road right of Dapia, the central part of the main town, leads to this beach. This beach usually gets very crowded in summer, although this fact is also due to its small size. In addition, if we take into account its location, it is no wonder why it counts on a lot of amenities, such as nearby taverns and bars offering snacks and refreshments.

AGIOS MAMMAS

Agios mammas beach, mostly frequented by locals and children. The beach is quite large, with a mix of sand and pebbles. A jetty has been constructed to the right. The beach is easily accessible, and it provides the best escape for a quick swim.
